Are we still talking about THAT wreck. It’s a part of racing. Back in the day when you raced for the Cup you could trade paint and it wasn’t a crime. You kids are too soft nowadays.

Easy rook I didn’t mean anything by it. Honestly I didn’t want him to get hurt or killed, I ain’t that heartless, I just wanted to get by…didn’t want to finish behind him again or you for that matter. I have to live with what I did and it doesn’t help when it’s brought up all the time. Always the hero eh McQueen, I won and still you managed to show me up. *shakes hood*

And it wasn’t about showing you up, if I’d wanted to do that I would have crossed the finish line and then helped him, the win just didn’t matter so much to me anymore. 

Thanks kid too bad most of the racing circuit doesn’t think like you. On that last lap all I could think about was winning. I tried one last time to pass because I had to beat Strip once to know I could and no it didn’t turn out as planned. When I crossed the finish line I thought you ran out of gas or something. I didn’t even know I’d hurt him that bad or what you had done until I retreated to my trailer after getting pummeled with debris and saw the replay on RSN.

Can’t change what I did and I have to live with being part of the worst moments in sports. I’m gonna win the Cup again because I don’t want my career black-marked by what happened in 2006. I’ll show ‘em.
